The Talpro Universe is how I learned to ship AI in production. FAQ

The questions we get first.

Why productized pricing? Isn't consulting bespoke?

Because discovery calls should be about the problem, not the price. Seven named tiers cover 90% of what operators actually ask us to do. The 10% that don't fit, we scope as a fixed-fee Forge or Build. No T&M. No surprises at month 2.

Do you take equity?

No. Cash only. Equity quietly converts an advisor relationship into a lottery ticket that no one audits. Our discipline is the weekly retainer + 3-month minimum on Helm — both sides know where we stand.

Where's the work done — India, or will you fly?

Primary delivery is remote from Bengaluru on IST. Quarterly on-site visits are included in Helm Flagship; additional travel billed at cost. GCC clients typically get 1–2 days in-person per month built into the scope.

Can you sign our MSA / DPA?

Yes. Default posture: data residency in India (or client's chosen region), DPDPA-compliant processing, no training on client data, deletion SLA of 30 days post-engagement. We'll redline anything that conflicts with that.

What happens if we outgrow the retainer?

Helm is designed to end. Every retainer has an explicit transition clause — by month 6, you should either have a full-time AI lead in seat or a clear reason we're still the best option. If you're still paying us at month 18 by default, one of us has failed.

How do you work with Claude / OpenAI / the foundation model vendors?

Model-agnostic by design. We pick per workload against TALPRO-IQ's 8-axis grid — data residency, exit cost, model flexibility, latency, cost, capability fit. Today that's mostly Anthropic and OpenRouter; tomorrow it might not be. Your contracts should survive that swap.

We're not one of the three ICPs. Will you still talk to us?

Short call, yes. If the shape fits, we'll say so. If it doesn't, we'll introduce you to one of the firms we trust for it — often faster than chasing a poor-fit engagement. That referral is free.
